The Challenge is recommending Chrome as the browser to use for the challenge. Their reasoning is that it has similar extension capabilities that Firefox has, but without the slow load time. I haven’t used Chrome much. In fact, outside of making sure my WordPress themes that I have designed (check out Juicy Themes) look ok in Chrome, I don’t use it at all. But, since the Challenge is having us use it, I’ll do it.

Even though it’s only been a few minutes since I started playing around with it, I will say that it does seem a lot faster than Firefox. Now that could be because I haven’t added much to it, and I have to Firefox. I also like that there aren’t a lot of toolbars and other silly things getting in my way – just simple icons for the extensions that The Challenge recommended we use.

I’ll save a final judgement on Chrome for after I’ve used it for awhile. But, my first impression is that I’m going to like it!

Today for the Pre-Challenge Challenge stuff (that’s a mouth full), we are supposed to get ourselves situated at Twitter. I’ve had a Twitter account for ages and as of 5 minutes ago, I have a whooping 6 tweets. I just don’t do anything interesting enough that I’d want to share it with random people. But, since the Challenge says “Do it!” I’m doing it!

If you’d like to follow me at Twitter, you can easily do so – either click this link, @AkitaJitsu or click the “Join Conversation” link in the Twitter widget at the bottom of the page.

OK, so that about wraps it up for my Challenge activities for today. I’m really antsy to get to the first Module, which starts on July 12. I know this pre- stuff is important, but it takes less than 30 minutes to do each taskĀ  (more like 5 minutes per), so I’m twiddling my thumbs. I suppose I should get myself in gear for the Halloween season coming up!

First Squidoo Lens – Fidget Toys

A few of my fellow Niche Bloggers joined Tiffany Dow’s 52 Week Amazon Lens Building Challenge, so I decided to jump on [...]
