I started my first session with RocketMoms this week. For the next several weeks, we’ll have a particular assignment and at the end, we’ll have 8 new lenses. You have to complete all the lenses in order to graduate – by the end, I’ll have 8 more lenses towards my goal of 60 lenses.
So, the first lens assignment is to write a lens about ourselves. I chose to write about living with my son who was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech when he was 3 (although it had been suspected that he was apraxic from the first speech evaluation at 27 months). I’m still working on the lens, but it’s published – that’s a start. Over the weekend I’ll work on tweaking the lens until it looks like I want it to.
